Head Nurse


Sharon Davies RVN CertSAN SQP

Sharon is our head nurse and one of our most experienced nurses. She has two cats and two labradors who (like most labradors) will eat ANYTHING. Sharon is a clinical coach and is involved in training our student nurses.

Registered Veterinary Nurses


Katy Lacey BSC (hons) VN Grad Dip CVN RVN

Katy is an RVN and clinical coach who has a menagerie of animals, including a Labrador (Hetty), two budgies (Martha and Bernie), two rabbits (Lily and Benjiman), two guinea pigs (Alfred and Edna), two tortoises (Colin and Parsley) two ducks and a chicken. Katy is also very crafty and enjoys horse riding in her spare time.


Nicole Shorto RVN SQP

Nicole is also a clinical coach. She has a one eyed dog called Plum, who came to Nicole from the RSPCA,along with two ducks, two cats and two chickens (Jez, Mils, Maureen, Doreen, Daphne and Delilah). Nicole is interested in Animal Behaviour and is our Cat Friendly representative, helping us to achieve the Gold Standard of Cat Friendly Clinics.


Gemma Whyles RVN

Gemma is an experienced veterinary nurse who works as a locum vet nurse who helps us out in our times of need, having previously worked for us for several years.


Katy Eaton RVN

Katy is an experienced RVN and Clinical Coach, involved with the training of our student vet nurses. Katy is particularly interested in inpatient care, and helps to foster some of the young RSPCA kittens that have no mother and require intensive feeding and nursing. When not at work, Katy can be found supporting the Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team.


Ashleigh Kubie BSc (hons) VN RVN

Ashleigh has two large, cuddly dogs called Shumba and Maxi.  Ashleigh helps to run our puppy parties and underakes nurse clinics in the practice. She has recently been appointed a Royal Canin Pet Health Counsellor, and a Clinical Coach, assisitng with thr training of our student nurses.


Charlotte Russell VN

Charlotte is one of our most recently qualified veterinary nurses, and undertakes all aspects of nursing care. Charlotte has a lovely dog called Lola. 


Emily Mellor VN

Emily has recently qualified as a veterinary nurse undertaking her training here at Peak Vets. Emily has a friendly, bouncy dog named Maggie, and enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing.

Tanesha Bower

Tanesha is coming to the end of her 1st year studying at Sheffield College.

Erica Leesley

Erica has also recently joined us and has started her two year training course to become a veterinary nurse. Erica has a dog (Monty) and 3 cats (Dylan, Polly and Snowy).


Ellie Ashford

 Ellie ensures that the practice maintains a high standard of cleanliness and order, so that out patients are healthy and happy. Ellie is just about to start her 1st year nursing course at Sheffield College.

Eleanor Gabbitas

Eleanor has just completed further study in veterinary infection control and is about to start her 1st year nursing course at Sheffield College.
